The big money is made by accepting loads and there's no way around it. The revenue to the truck is what's it's all about and you're now a small business. Would you tell a customer to go away? No, of course not, so saying yes to a load is the key to success. You can say no too. We all need to now and then, but think like a business and consider the load your customer and you'll do just fine and see six plus figure earnings.
KEEP YOUR EYES ON SMALL EXPENSES.
As an OO, the little things are what eat your profits. Fuel will probably be your biggest expense outside of your lease payment. You want a fuel-surcharge program like CRST's that's paying 97%.
